Ayiravally Thampuran is considered as an incarnation of Lord Shiva. There is a Tree named KUVALAM, which came of its own and in the Devaprasanam it is revealed that Lord Shiva's presence is there in the Temple and a Temple for Ayiravally Thampuran is to be made. A new Temple is constructed in the Temple compound itself for Ayiravally Thampuran.
